a Revenue Sale
—Whether a revenue sale without issuing notice by registered post
is valid—Issue of notice equated with service of notice—A sale is not without
jurisdiction merely because no notice of sale by registered post was issued—The
sale could be avoided if the requirements laid down in the Act are not complied
with—The Court committed no illegality in equating issue of notice with service
of notice—Bengal Land Revenue Sales (Amendment) Act (II of 1943) S 2.
