Note.—Under Section 94 of the Insurance Act, 1938, the provisions relating to assignments under Section 30 of the said Act apply to policies of insurance issued by provident societies covering any of the contingencies specified in clause (a), Section 65.

An assignment can be made to any person, but a nomination can only be made to certain specified persons. (See Section 94 of the said Act.)
