Conciliation Courts Ordinance, 1961

Conciliation
Courts Ordinance, 1961

Section 3
& section B of Part–I of the Schedule:

In
the Contract Act any agreement which is enforceable by law is a contract. The
Act however says that an oral agreement is not enforceable by law or that a
written agreement only is enforceable by law. The word contract may therefore
mean either an oral or a written agreement. In Conciliation Courts Ordinance
the word ‘Contract’ has not been qualified in any way. ‘Contract’ should
therefore embrace an oral contract as well as written one.
