THIS LICENCE is granted this the . . . . . . . . . . . day of . . . . . . . . . , 20 . . . . . . . . . . .by A.B., aged . . . . . . . . . . ., etc. of the one part to C.D., aged . . . . . . . . . . . etc. of the second part, described as the Lessor and the Lessee in the original deed of lease between them, dated . . . . . . . . . .

WHEREAS the said C.D. is desirous of carrying on the trade of a chemist in the premises demised to him under the lease referred to above, but is unable to do so on account of the prohibition imposed by Clause 3 of the said lease.

AND WHEREAS the Lessee has approached the Lessor to grant to him a licence for carrying on the said trade also within the said premises for a limited period of one year and the Lessor is agreeable.

NOW THIS DEED WITNESSES that in consideration of the payment of a sum of Rs . . . . . . . . . . . per month over and above the rent agreed to be paid under the aforesaid lease the said A.B. grants leave and licence to the said C.D., his heirs, executors and administrators, to carry on upon the premises let out to him the trade or business of a chemist and for that purpose to put up any signboard or advertisement: PROVIDED the Lessee shall not sell or stock on the premises any goods or chemicals used for . . . . . . . . . . . (give any reservations which may be necessary) AND ALSO refrain from doing any day and night dispensing in a manner which might be objectionable to the neighbours and co-tenants. AND the said C.D. covenants for his heirs, executors and administrators as well that this Licence shall be revocable at the option of the Lessor after one year from the date hereof and that the premises shall be restored within one week from its revocation to the original condition and that the proviso for determination of the lease upon any breach of the covenants provided therein shall apply to a breach of the covenant herein contained.
