PREMISES AND RENT CONTROL ACT, 1963

Section —19(1)

The application made under section 19(1) of the Premises and Rent Control Act. It was required by the petitioner to make deposit of the rent with the Rent Controller which was returned back to him undelivered through post within fortnight of said received unserved. In the instant case the petitioner without depositing any rent with the Rent Controller made an application which is not tenable in law.
