Brief Outline of this Course:
Business law lies at the very heart of commerce in any developed society. Private individuals or consumers cannot avoid participating in the buying, acquiring, or supplying of goods and services. The basis of these transactions is the business law.
Learning outcomes for the module:
Students will be able to:
ü Understand the basic concepts & theories of law associated with business arena in relation to practical life.
Course requirement:
- The students will be given class assignments.
- Students are expected to be punctual.
- Regular attendance & class participation will carry points.

Assignments Topic (Examples):
Question 1: The right use of laws and right order in society protect us from crime and encourage the grace of salvation, those in authority must use their authority wisely -Explain & Illustrate.
Question 2: Exploring the most appropriate rule of law-with specific reference to world Jurists.
-Explain & Illustrate.
Question 4: ‘Offence seriousness should be the primary determinant of sentence.
Question 5: What justifications are there for life sentences? Should they be abolished and replaced by determinate terms of imprisonment?
