RE: TITLE SUIT NO. 110/2004 FILED BY MR. X & OTHERS IN THE 1ST JOINT DISTRICT JUDGE COURT, NARAYANGONJ

We refer to your letter vide No. HO/LJ/BANK’S PROPERTY/ 2008/ 1174 dated 11.03.2008 and the above subject-matter. Please be informed that the last date (19.02.2008) of the captioned Suit was fixed for submission of the written statements from the defendants other than the defendant No. 34 i.e. Bank 1 and the defendants who already submitted the written statements, in default, the peremptory hearing (PH). The defendants who haven’t yet submitted the written statement submitted the adjournment petition on the last date and they got the time. Although we already submitted written statement, but since a number of defendants haven’t yet submitted the written statements, the learned Court is trying to get statements from all other defendants before taking depositions from the plaintiff and the defendants. The next date of the captioned Suit is fixed on 17.04.2008 for written statement in default peremptory hearing (PH). Since a number of parties (34) are involved in this Suit, it is likely that the Suit would take longer time than the usual to be finally disposed.
