Whereas you have, in spite of the protests of my client A. B., started constructing today a low parapet with big openings over the boundary wall of your house lying to the south of my client’s house No. . . . . . . . . , situate at . . . . . . . . Road . . . . . . . .;

And whereas the said construction has invaded the privacy of the entire courtyard and other portions of the said house of my client which are in the use of the ladies of his house.

Take notice that, unless within seven days of the receipt of this notice you completely and permanently close the openings of the parapet in question and raise the said parapet so high as to completely remove the said invasions of privacy and further desist from making any constructions by way of addition, alteration or otherwise which may in any way invade the privacy of any portion of the said house of my client, legal proceedings will be taken against you and you will also be held liable for costs.
