RE: GENERAL DIARY

Dear Sir,

We, X Bleaching & Dyeing Factory Limited, Plot No. 93-100, Dhaka Export Processing Zone, Savar, Dhaka, would like to inform you as follows:

01. That X Bleaching & Dyeing Factory Limited (the “X Bleaching”) is a 100% foreign owned company. It has been carrying on the business of bleaching and dyeing of cloths in the Dhaka Export Processing Zone.

02. That for the purpose of carrying on its business X Bleaching needs to import chemicals and other merchandise from abroad. Consequently X Bleaching imports the goods as and when necessary through due process of law.

03. That very recently X Bleaching has come to know that in the month of March, 2004 a consignment of chemical was imported into Bangladesh from Singapore in the name of X Bleaching. Upon enquiry with the Customs Authority it has been learnt by X Bleaching that it was a consignment of 28,672 K. G. of Softener in 304 Drum carried in two 20 feet container and was cleared on 06.03.2004 from ICD, Kamlapur.

04. That the above consignment was not imported by X Bleaching and any seal and/or signature of X Bleaching and/or of its officers used on any of the documents for importation, carrying and clearing the above consignment are forged and fabricated.

05. That from the above facts it is obvious that someone is using the name of X Bleaching for their own benefits.

In such circumstances, you are requested to register the above facts in your General Dairy for future reference.
