Instructions to candidates:
Answer TWO questions, including question from Section A and ONE from Section B.
Section A:
1. With reference to case law, outline and briefly describe the various headings that come under a) illegality, b) irrationality and c) procedural impropriety.
Section B:
2. Discuss the practical implications of the rule of law for the English legal system.
3. Critically assess the extent to which A.V. Dicey’s analysis of the sovereignty of Parliament has contemporary relevance.
